John Asermely is the CPTO at Hireology and is responsible for the technical direction for all software offerings. As the head of engineering, he’s accountable for ensuring Hireology can execute our exciting product vision. In this role, John creates a great culture and environment for our engineering teams. He’s focused on making sure our teams are organized, empowered, and enabled to be successful.
John brings many years of experience in the software industry. In his most recent role with DocuSign, John lead Product & Engineering for the Mortgage and Real Estate verticals. He ensured the team was following modern software development practices and architecture. John led the research and development of DocuSign’s new Mortgage Closing offering. He was also responsible for setting the strategy and execution plan for DocuSign’s multiple Real Estate offerings.
John holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He currently lives outside of Chicago in Saint Charles, IL.
