As one of the fastest growing franchise brands, Anytime Fitness allows their members to get fit on their own schedule: it’s one of the few gym franchises that offers 24-hour access to their facilities. Anytime Fitness has seen incredible success, and the franchise is quickly spreading across the country. At the beginning of this growth, the Anytime Fitness leaderships team knew that the team they had in place running each fitness center was critical to the success of the overall business – and decided to partner with Hireology to establish a centralized hiring process each franchisee could use to ensure the right people were brought onboard to help the brand grow.

Solution

By working together, Hireology was able to establish a hiring process that focused on bringing in the right talent for existing Anytime Fitness locations while also helping all-new franchise owners hire at scale to ensure success during their opening months.

 

Beyond the strong process, Hireology worked with Anytime Fitness to develop and launch career sites designed to engage with top applicants. In addition to a list of open roles, we worked together to highlight the great employee culture, career trajectory, and benefits Anytime Fitness offers team members – things we know are mission-critical to convince top applicants to consider Anytime Fitness as their next career move.

Results

Anytime Fitness has established a centralized hiring process across hundreds of locations while being structured in a way that allows corporate to review and help locations that may be struggling with specific roles. For some locations, the process has allowed candidates to be verified while still speeding along through the overall process. Some Anytime Fitness owners have had incredible results thanks to the unified process:

On the career site front, Anytime Fitness locations leveraging the Hireology career site are seeing strong results. 68% of Anytime Fitness career site applicants are seen as quality applicants by hiring managers – meaning they are qualified enough to advance to the interview stage. Compared to more traditional job boards, this is a significant improvement. Across the network, Anytime Fitness career sites drive just 1% of total applicants, but 15% of all eventual hires – showing this is a small but incredibly engaged group of top talent.
