Hireology data was featured in a recent article in The Wall Street Journal, “Dearth of a Salesman: Auto Dealers Struggle to Recruit, Retain Younger Workers.” The article focuses on the state of retail automotive hiring. With baby boomers retiring at a rapid rate and few millennials interested in retail automotive careers, it’s getting more difficult for dealerships to staff up with top talent.

This article highlights several key pieces of Hireology data, such as: “While nearly 60% of dealership hires are millennial workers, more than half of those new hires turn over annually.”
