We know you’ve been counting down the days until the next episode of Fridays in the Lab, but we’re having some contractual issues with the cast (just kidding – our intern is just a slacker). So instead, check out this TED Talk with Wingham Rowan about the future of employment.

It’s a little longer than our usual Fridays in the Lab, but it’s worth the ten minutes. Working off the premise that people want (and need) jobs with flexible hours, Rowan discusses how “the same technology that powers modern financial markets can help employers book workers for slivers of time.”
