SHRM Las Vegas: It’s our time to shine

Our bags are packed and we’re ready to go…

Tomorrow, Hireology heads to Las Vegas for the annual SHRM conference; the largest HR conference in the nation. For us, this is more than just a trade show, a trip to sin city, or a chance to hear what others in our space are doing: This is BIG. On Sunday, Hireology makes its debut on the SHRM exhibit floor – this day marks our transition from child to adult; from start-up to start-ed. It’s time to reveal our product to the world and learn, in person, from the best of the best.

We’re most excited to hear presentations from Tony Hsieh (my personal favorite and, I admit, obsession), and Michael J. Fox (a true inspiration). If you’re like us, you know what happens after presentations like this: You come out with revelations and new ideas that wind up weaving themselves into your business, keeping you busy for months to come. We can’t wait to share with you what we learn when we get back!

Don’t look for us at the black-jack tables. We’re betting on getting a pulse on the new HR products and research out there. In the spirit of staying ahead of the game, we’re fired up about researching trends in candidate interviewing & assessment, learning more about the existing web-based hiring tools on the market, gathering information on potential integration partners, and a dose of healthy “sizing up” of our competitors. For that, we’ll save our best poker face.

What happens in Vegas doesn’t stay in Vegas, this time. We promise to give you a detailed play-by-play when we return!
