Hireology, in partnership with Cox Automotive and NADA, is hosting Elevate 2017, a retail automotive human capital management summit. The industry-first event will bring together dealership General Managers, Dealer Principals and HR leaders to discuss strategy and tactically build their 2018 human capital management plans.

New research from Cox Automotive and Hireology, the 2017 Dealership Staffing Study, will be released during Elevate. Isabelle Helms, Vice President of Research and Market Intelligence at Cox Automotive, will present key findings and provide critical insight into the state of dealership staffing during an hour-long session.

Through extensive research of more than 1,000 dealerships, their employees and the broader U.S. workforce, the 2017 Dealership Staffing Study provides perspective on: current perceptions of working in automotive, how to drive greater applicant engagement, and tactics to drive great buyer satisfaction via your staffing strategy, among other topics.

Dealerships Fall Short on Staffing Strategies

Among many compelling insights from the research, one of most surprising discoveries was that only one-third of dealerships have implemented a staffing strategy. Lack of a set staffing strategy likely contributes to the record-high turnover dealerships face today – 72% for sales roles and 90% for women in dealerships.

What can dealerships do to prevent turnover and overcome other human capital management challenges? Learn how top dealerships are combatting turnover and get the full research report during Elevate.
