Join the cause, grow a mo!

Movember is a global charity that is hoping to raise awareness. Similar to October and Breast Cancer Awareness, November has recently been renamed Movember in an attempt to
educate the world about men’s health. It began in 2003 in Australia and now has spread throughout the world, with 21 participating countries as of this year.

At the beginning of November, men across the world started the month clean-shaven. Throughout the month, they grow and groom their mo’s (short for mustache). The point of this is to draw attention and get people talking, and essentially educating people about men’s health issues.

Movember works with programs that combat prostate and testicular cancers, as well as focuses on the education and awareness of these cancers and mental health challenges.

Men are able to register through the Movember website to become official Mo Bro’s and to keep track of their mo’s. They also can have friends and family donate to their team to raise funds for men’s health. However, Movember isn’t just for men! Women have the ability to register through the website and become Mo Sistas! By registering, women are able to do all the things men are able to do! (Without growing the mo, of course.)

This year, Hireology has joined the Movember cause and has created a team. The men of Hireology are getting hairy for men’s health! Throughout the month, our men plan to grow and groom the craziest mo’s that they possibly can! However, we can’t forget the women. The women of Hireology have officially become Mo Sistas!
