Millennials are very high maintenance, which can cause the current employees to feel extremely frustrated. However, they have a unique blend of characteristics that may be very useful for managers. Often, millennials need to identify with a brand, cause, or position. Companies can use this to their advantage.
4. Give a lot of feedback.
Millennials need feedback in order to function properly. Because of this, it is important that you give them a lot of feedback and very frequently as well as a lot of recognition.
Overall, millennials can be a great addition to your company. However, you have to make sure you are managing them in the correct way in order to keep them around. Millennials are a different breed of worker than most managers are used to. However, in the upcoming years, millennials will be taking over the workforce. Make sure you know how to manage them!
