It’s Moving Day!

We started from the bottom now we’re here…come on, I had to. The day has finally arrived. Hireology is saying goodbye to our 2,000 square foot office in River North and hello to a skyscraper in the Loop. It’s a bittersweet feeling, but definitely more sweet. Hireology started out with only four team members. We are now a company of 55.

We don’t plan on slowing down anytime soon either, so now is the perfect time to make the big transition. Personally, I’m going to miss the tight-knit space with the loud noise and people basically sitting on top of each other. On the other hand, this means Hireology is growing at a rapid rate and shows the level of success we’ve had over the past four years.

The picture to the right shows our first employees building desks together with their own two hands.

It’s funny to look back at what Hireology once was and even then, our employees had huge smiles on their faces. A concern running through the office is that our signature culture will change once we enter an office 4x the size of ours. This photo proves it absolutely will not. From four people to 55, the smile is only multiplying. We feel extremely strong about the culture we’ve built and no matter what space we move into, we’ll stay true to it.

We’ve been counting down the days for over a month now and it was crazy to see the giant “1” on the board when I walked in today. Boxes are scattered around the office, Crusher is packed away in the corner, and everyone is shoving their faces with the goal of emptying the fridge before the day is over (Beer as well…it’s 5 o’clock somewhere, right?). It’s moving day. We are ready to take the leap over the river and create a new stepping stone in the Hireology journey. Bring it on, Loop!
