Adam Robinson, co-founder and CEO of Hireology, a web-based selection management platform, was featured in an article published on SmartBrief’s blog, “SmartBlog.” Discussing the importance of empowering employees to become leaders, the article features insights from companies such as Hireology, Philips and CBG Benefits.
In the article, titled “9 Ways to Empower Employees to Be Leaders,” Robinson explains two “scare” resources must be deployed: Trust and clarity. By ensuring (earned) trust is placed in the abilities of employees and clarifying that employee’s efforts are aligned with management’s goals, the end results will be a much more efficient and effective workplace.
“Clarity without trust produces inaction, and trust without clarity produces wasted effort,” said Robinson. “Your team should be able to rely on you, and you should be able to rely on them.”
