Fridays in the Lab: Holiday Hiring

It’s not quite time to deck the halls, but many companies have already begun hiring seasonal workers for the upcoming holiday season. Amazon recently announced that they will be hiring 70,000 temporary, full-time employees to help out with the “busy season.” Coming in the wake of the government shut down, Amazon’s announcement brings hope to those looking for an additional income this holiday season. 

As the video below discusses, many other companies have also announced plans to begin hiring seasonal employees. While hiring isn’t expect to surpass last year’s numbers, it’s still a good sign to see hiring getting back on track.
