Features on deck for February

February is shaping up to be a busy month for our Product Development team. Here’s what’s going on in the lab:

Account Management – We’re spending the first half of the month working on infrastructure that will let you self-manage your account from within the application (currently, in our private beta, we need to do all account administration for you).

By the end of this month, you’ll be able to:

  • Sign up for a new Hireology account right off our corporate web site, www.hireology.com
  • Pay for Hireology using a credit card, and pay monthly or by lump-sum
  • Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel (boo!) an account without the need to call or email us

Elements Interview – We heard from  a number of users that our Elements Interview – that’s the final round, behavioral interview in our process – was clocking in at over 2 hours, which was longer than we had designed it to take.  Because of this feedback, we are implementing a new approach, with the goal of reducing the amount of time it takes to run this interview by 40-50%.  Hireology will now prioritize the ‘top 20_ behavioral elements that predict success, and will serve up a customized interview to measure a candidate against them.  Currently, the elements list is averaging 40 or so elements per interview.

We are grateful to our Beta customers who have been sending in some truly outstanding suggestions for improvement!  Please keep Ôem coming.

The Elements Interivew is great when looking to hire salespeople. Find out our other tips below.
