Announcing Hireology’s Google Jobs Support

If you realized it was time to make a change and you were ready to find a new job, where would you begin?

In summer 2016, like most people, my job hunt began with a Google search. I typed “product manager jobs Chicago” and started browsing the results until I came across the startup and technology job board, Built In Chicago.

I clicked on Built In Chicago and filtered my search to identify several jobs that aligned with my interests and skill set. One of the job openings happened to be a product manager position at Hireology, where I started working at a couple months later.

It turns out I’m not alone, as 73% of candidates start their search on Google.

Hireology and Google Jobs

To reach more applicants who start their search on Google, Hireology is excited to announce that its Job Description pages will now support Google Jobs as a free update to all Hireology customers. This update enables job seekers to view positions in the Google Search results jobs widget at the top of the page. Job seekers can select a job to view more details and apply via the employer’s career site. Google Jobs extends an employer’s reach by placing their jobs at the beginning of the search process.
